Synopsis

When is a haircut, more than a haircut?

Carlos is new to LA, while trying to navigate making new friends and LA freeways, he also needs to find a new barber. At Rudy’s Barbershop he meets Angel.

CARLOS

Why do you like to cut hair?

ANGEL

Oh, it’s cool to make guys feel good, look good, you know. Nothing like a fresh cut, fresh lines, to make a man feel good and clean, right?

ANGEL

Most guys don’t know that having another man cut your hair on the regular is like being in a relationship. You both have to communicate, be open for feedback and suggestion-

ANGEL and CARLOS

You have to have trust.

ANGEL

See you know. Yeah trust is important, for the dude getting his head cut, he has to speak on what he wants and then submit…

CARLOS

…Yeah. Does it ever get boring?

ANGEL

Yeah, it can but then it’s nice to see someone new come in. He might want something new, something I’ve never done before…
